4 types of hoodies to get you cosy

We have come a long way in fashion from the long Victorian dresses to minis to high waisted trousers. Now, anything and everything would be included in fashion style. More so, no one cares what other people think as long as they themselves find it fashionable. And seeing as it cosy season, Hoodies are the perfect clothing.

So recently my dad got new year presents from his company. They were technically supposed to be Christmas presents but got delayed and well… Happy New Year.. So he got two presents, one was a black thermos bottle that shows the water temperature on the lid. It’s pretty amazing how far the technology has come and……. No, you know what that makes me sound old. Anyway, continuing with the presents. One was a thermos bottle and the second was a zipper Hoodie..now i can’t tell you how excited I was to hear that. When my mom has banned me from purchasing more hoodies and sweatshirts and I had been yearning for one for the past two years. I bought my last hoodie in Comic Con Mumbai 2019. So obviously I was a little too excited to steal my dad’s hoodie as soon as it came. The plus point was, it was gonna be a baggy one.

What are hoodies really?

A sweater like t-shirt with a hood. No! hoodie is a feeling. A warm, cuddly, cosy feeling. A home-y feeling. The make us feel warm on a cold night. Make us look cosy in an distant world. They hug us when we are alone. The make us trendy when they are cropped. And goofy when they are furry.

Want to laze around and eat to your heart’s content. Here’s hoodie. Want to go for an early morning or late night drive and it’s too cold.. Here’s a hoodie. Want to curl up with a book in a library. Ahem, here’s hoodie to your rescue. Not feeling like dressing up? Hoodie. Want to dress up nerdy and geeky and cute? Hoodie!!!

They let us be who we are without pretending to be someone the society accepts.

Here are the four type of hoodies you would usually see me wearing:

Furry bear hoodie

I usually wear my bear hoodie when I go on trips or on night outs with my friends.pairing it with a simple black jeans and white sneakers goes a long way. A mix of cute and cosy with a dash of swag.

Cropped hoodie

This one is for a day out. Say a picnic to a park, or shopping, or amusement park trip or any such. Actually any occasion. Pairing it with a ripped jeans, some bracelets, and a sling purse gives it a chic look.

Zipper Hoodie Jacket

You can wear this on any tshirt of your choice and any pair of jeans as long you keep the colours in contrast. I have a brown velvet jacket that I pair with brown jeans and I just zip up if my top or t-shirt doesn’t match my hoodie jacket 😉 No one has to know. Sshh….

Baggy Hoodie

My most favourite of them all is a baggy hoodie. No matter the color, no matter the print. This one is for lazing around and cosy up with a book or like our dear Jared Padalecki says, “I love to wear hoodies because you can get cosy and eat some food and your belly doesn’t show.”

Or you can go Princess Diana and wear shorts with a hoodie for a jog or just a casual walk around town.
