Sunrisers Hyderabad VS.Gujarat Titans : The match was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad led by Kane Williamson and Gujrat Titans led by Hardik Pandya.

 For Gujarat Titans though Pandya scored a half century there was nothing much to talk about. The Sunrisers Hyderabad  were too good for Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to end the winning streak of Gujrat Titans. It was a wonderful batting display led by their captain Kane Williamson who eventually won the match.

 Nicholas Pooran played a breathtaking innings of 34 runs off 18 balls to give finishing touch. A light moment was seen on the field when Hardik Pandya was batting. A ban came with a banner. If Hardik Pandya scores a 50 I will quit my job. And any guesses? Though Gujarat Titans lost the match Hardik Pandya scored 50. Such incidents do happen on the cricket field making it interesting to watch.

Chennai Super Kings VS. Royal Challengers Bangalore: The match was played between Chennai Superkings led by captain Ravindra Jadeja and  Royal Challengers Bangalore led by captain Faf Du Plessis. 

It was a high scoring match. Chennai Super Kings posted a massive total of 216 runs which is simply too much for Royal Challengers Bangalore with their key players Virat Kohli, Faf Du Plesis and Anuj Rawat perishing within the powerplay. It was a splendid performance by Robin Uttapha and shivam Dubey. Though  Royal Challengers Bangalore were bowling well, Robin Uttapha and Shivam Dubey took the game away from Chennai Super Kings.

Mumbai Indians VS. Punjab Kings: The match was played between Mumbai Indians led by captain Rohit Sharma and Punjab Kings led by captain Mayank Agarwal. Punjab Kings scored 198 runs. It was a match of nerves and this match was a great example of how great fielding makes a difference in winning and losing matches.  Batting first, PBKS slammed 198/5, riding on brilliant knocks from Shikhar Dhawan (70) and Mayank Agarwal (52) and Jitesh Sharma (30*).

In the run-chase, Dewald Brevis’ (49) blitzkrieg, alongside Tilak Varma (35) and Suryakumar Yadav (43) brought MI close to the total but the two run outs of Tilak and Pollard eventually proved key to the side’s downfall.

We saw a heartwarming gesture by Kireon Pollard on being runout in spite of his partner’s mistake, Surya kumar who wanted two runs but only a single was available. Kireon Pollard has said no for double but Surya kUMAR yadav ran and he also followed and was eventually run out but he didn’t get angry. He went to him and hugged him and encouraged him to play well. Whatever be the result of the game such incidents are an example of great sports men spirit shown by players and making IPL larger than just playing bat ball but by setting an example of why cricket is called a gentleman’s game.

 It was a day when Hardik Pandya could do nothing wrong. He was in splendid form. While batting Gujrat titans went all guns blazing with scoring 192. Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 87 .

Jos Buttler scored a quick-fire half-century but Rajasthan Royals lost regular wickets with their risk-taking approach against Gujarat Titans in 193 chase at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. Devdutt Padikkal perished on duck, and Ashwin (8) and Sanju Samson (11) also fell cheaply. Butler also walked back after scoring a 24-ball 54 and Rajasthan eventually managed to score just 155 in 20 overs. Earlier, Hardik’s unbeaten knock of 87 helped Gujarat Titans post 192/4. He scored his second consecutive fifty while Abhinav Manohar scored 43 as the duo stitched an 86-run partnership to guide the team to a challenging total. While Hardik’s 52-ball knock was studded with eight fours and four sixes, Manohar struck four fours and two maximums. David Miller (31 not out off 14) also provided a late flourish to power the IPL debutants to their highest score of the tournament.Hardik Pandya became a technical man as he ordered measuring tape to calculate his run up.

It was a bengali new year which was celebrated with some fun by  the Kolkata Knight Riders team and Shreyas Iyer was seen offering sweets to Pat Cumins to taste and when Shreyas Iyer took the plate Pat Cumins was seen asking for more sweets.

It was a comfortable win for Kolkata Knight Riders as their bowlers had a wonderful time bowling.Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram’s effortless batting display along with the pacers magnificent show formed the cornerstone of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s comfortable seven-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders .The SRH pace unit comprising the likes of T Natarajan (3/37), Umran Malik (2/27), Marco Jansen (1/26) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/37) restricted KKR for 175 for 8.  Umran Malik was  bowling with serious pace. He bowled the Captain of Kolkata Knight Riders and Dale steyn was seen jumping out of his seat for celebration.

The ton from KL Rahul set it up with a magnificent century. The captain being back in runs is a good sign for  Lucknow Super Giants.

Some discipline with the ball and on the field helped LSG to pull off this win. MI slipped to their sixth loss. A chase of 200 was not supposed to be easy. And LSG bowlers stuck to their strengths and put in some good application to stifle the chase. The form of Rohit Sharma, then Kishan as well as Surya not delivering big scores proved to be the deterrent again for MI.  Punjab Kings VS. Sunrisers Hyderabad: Mayak Agarwal was injured  as he got hurt on his toe during practice session. so we had new captain Shikhar Dawan captaining the side of Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad was led by captain Kane williamson.

Umran Malik was bowling fast and furious. He bagged four wickets. His bowling restricted Punjab Kings to a total of 151 thereby allowing the Sunrisers Hyderabad openers to pace their innings. But Kane Williamson perished fast not troubling the scorers much. Tripathi entered and he was looking in great touch and he pulled the momentum for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rahul Chahar conceded 12 runs in his first over as Tripathi added a four and a six each. Chahar bounced back by scalping the wicket of dangerous Tripathi. At the halfway stage, SRH were 74-2 after Abhishek Sharma smacked a six over long-on.However, the left-handed batter was dismissed in the next over as he holed out to long-on against Rahul Chahar, who claimed his second wicket.  Nicholas Pooran along with Aiden Markram formed a steady partnership as SRH required 31 runs in 24 balls. PBKS lost Dhawan’s wicket early after the PBKS skipper was caught at mid-on off Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s bowling. Jitesh Sharma hit two fours but was caught behind later in the 5th over.Liam Livingstone counter-attacked with two fours and a six against Jansen and SRH were 48-2 at the end of the powerplay. Jagadeesha Suchith trapped Jonny Bairstow LBW to hand SRH their third wicket. Jitesh Sharma struck two fours in the next over against Umran Malik but the bowler bounced back and took a catch off his own bowling. Shahrukh Khan teamed up with Livingstone and formed a quick 50 partnership as the two batters smashed towering sixes against the SRH bowlers. The dangerous Livingstone was dismissed for 60 in the penultimate over before Umran Malik, with his rapid pace, claimed 3 wickets and did not concede a single run. Gujrat Titans VS. Chennai Super Kings: It was a match played between Gujrat Titans Captain Hardik Pandya and Chennai SuperKings captain Ravindra jadeja.

Chennai super kings were put into bat. Their star Batman Robin Uttapha perished early. Ritu Raj Gaikwad got the scoreboard ticking by hitting some breathtaking shots. He made a fast fifty and was supported well by his partner Raidu they made a partnership of 50 runs. While they were batting boundaries were flowing for Chennai Super Kings. But when they perished hardly ten runs came in the next two overs. GT pulled things back with tight overs but CSK skipper Jadeja finished the innings in style with two sixes as CSK posted 169-5 in the first innings. It was a top bowling performance by the Chennai super kings in the powerplay and as a result Gujarat  Titans lost 3 wickets. It was Rahul Tewatia and David Miller who changed the tide of the game in Gujrat Titans favor. The match went down to the wire and it was all about handling nerves better and Gujrat Titans managed it better and ended up at the winning side.
