JOURNEY  TO THE PLAYOFFS:

Well we are reaching the end of this Tata IPL 2022 season and we have witnessed some competitive cricket in this season. While most people felt Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians would easily make it to the playoffs. The journey for both teams was not up to their expectations this season. Rohit Sharma who led the Mumbai Indians team to win the IPL title had a forgettable season. But things do happen and Rohit Sharma completed the tournament on a high. The Delhi Capitals tried their best till the end But Mumbai Indians win meant they were out of the tournament. After losing matches the manner in which Sunrisers Hyderabad bounced back was really inspiring. They almost made it till the end but could not win the last matches. They gave a good fight.we saw some tough cricket played by Kolkata Knight riders who were the contentenders but their loss to Lucknow SuperGiants hurt them a lot. They played very good cricket. We saw the Punjab Kings had a mixed mag. They won some and lost some matches. But one cannot deny the fact that the four teams Gujrat Titans, Lucknow Super Kings , Royal Challengers Bangalore and  Rajasthan Royals were the most deserving teams. Gujrat Titans and Lucknow SuperGiants  in spite of being debutant teams made their way to playoffs. The manner in which Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul not only managed the side but played under pressure was really amazing. Royal Challengers Bangalore fighting spirit of never say die is truly amazing. The sportsmanship in their team is truly amazing. King Kholi in spite of being out of form the manner in which he was enjoying the success of his team members was an amazing sight to watch. That is respect for the game of cricket. But you can’t keep King Kholi out of the game, can you? In a must win situation he scored 73 runs not out and made sure his team was in the hunt for playoffs and Rohit Sharma and his team Mumbai Indians helped Kolkata Knight Riders by winning the match and they were off the playoffs. Rajasthan Royals played some fabulous cricket to grab the no 2 spot in playoffs . Jos Buttler just looked in great form and he was the run machine for Rajasthan Royals. Their spinners Challal also had some splendid performances. The orange cap and the purple cap were mostly rotating in the Rajasthan Royals team. The journey to the playoffs has been tough and we wish Gujrat Titans, Lucknow SuperGiants, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore all the best and may the best team win.
