Introduction & Requirement : To learn English

Lots of the time people have a phobia of writing letters, talking to people, and communicating with other people. And it’s not the content that is stopping them but its the English language that is the culprit. Believe me, after reading this blog you will fall in love with the English language.

Just relax. Have some water and with a cool mind let’s start. For learning the English language just follow the below process. Dedication, determination, devotion, hard work, positivity  dictionary and consistency then soon you will be a pro.

Four step process – Listen, Speak, Read & Write

English is just like learning to ride a  cycle. Starting you fall then you become a champ. For learning anything you need to follow a process and the English language is no different.

The process consists of just four steps:

Sep 1: Listen:

I know some of you must already be wondering how we can learn english through listening?

Well, sometimes we wonder how some two year old kids say complete sentences in English? While others at this age are struggling to construct sentences? And we label these kids who speak complete sentences as Genius! Actually these kids are just simply good at listening and parents who make an extra effort to read story books or talk in English in front of them their kids grasp faster as compared to others. So when children can learn English by listening, why can’t we? So just put on your television sets and listen to news carefully and try to grasp words and you will travel a long way.

Step 2: Speak:

One of the vital skills in learning English is to speak. Till you don’t speak you wont have confidence. You can record your short videos on a topic and practice the same. The best forum to speak is in large gatherings, public events, etc. whether it’s a school annual day or celebration in a building just participate and prepare for your speech. Never mind even if it’s not upto the mark. One day you will start speaking fluently. After your speech, be proud of yourself for attempting as few people have the courage to speak, look back at your mistakes and try to improve. One day you will be a pro.

Step3: Read:

In today’s world with the advent of technology reading habits are fading away. Remember your dad reading the newspaper everyday in the morning? It’s one of the keys to success for learning the English language .The more you read the more you become a pro at the English language. If you don’t understand any word don’t worry just pick up a dictionary and your work will be done.

Step4: Write:

Heard many people saying I can explain everything but can’t write. Once you know the above 3 skills no one can stop you in writing. It’s only you who lacks confidence in writing. Even famous writers are bound to make mistakes, which is why the concept of proofreading was introduced. So just pick up your pen and write something. The confidence which you will get will take you to another level.

Application of Vocabulary to build Phrases 

Enhancing vocabulary: Now that you followed the above process with utmost determination and dedication the next step is to increase vocabulary. One of the simple steps is to read the newspaper everyday. Find a new word, search for meaning and learn it. Every day you learn a new word and you will definitely enhance your vocabulary. And you will have a huge collection of words, which will help you to build phrases. Heard your neighbour saying OMG what english she speaks, it’s all about application of correct phrase at the correct time. What are phrases ? They are just a collection of words once your vocabulary is built, phrasing sentences will just be like an icing on the cake.

Conclusion: after going through so much knowledge people must be wondering what are we expected to do exactly? So let’s summarize:
