Player of the Match: KL Rahul ( Lucknow Super Giants)

On the other hand, his bowlers and fielders backed him up perfectly as they stifled MI in the run chase and condemned the five-time champions to their eighth consecutive defeat. Out of the seven bowlers that LSG deployed, six took wickets while the only one who didn’t, Dushmantha Chameera, conceded just 14 runs in his four overs. Krunal Pandya ended up with three wickets to his name after taking two in the last over of the match, by which time the game was well and truly out of MI’s hands.
